The University of Port Harcourt has notified all prospective students who chose the university as their first choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) Post-UTME Screening application form about the 2025 screening examination schedule, while extending the registration date till 14th August, 2025.
Materials Needed for Post-UTME Screening Exercise
Candidates must come to the examination venue with:
- A clear copy of the photo card printed online and a pen.

General requirements for UNIPORT Post-UTME 2025
- Candidates must score 150 and above in the 2025 UTME.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 credits in O-level, including mathematics and English.
- Candidates MUST be sixteen (16) years of age or above by October 2023 to be eligible for the exercise.
- Candidates must ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website as soon as possible, as those who do not will not be considered for admission.
- Candidates who chose the University as their second choice and wish to be considered for admission can apply for the Screening Exercise ONLY when they have made a change to the University of Port Harcourt as their first choice, not later than Monday, 11th August, 2025.

Registration Guide
- Complete the form online at the UNIPORT DATA CAPTURE portal.
- Eligible candidates are to input their UTME Registration Number and confirm pre-loaded UTME details.
- Candidates must ensure that they register with their valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses.
- Candidates who are awaiting their O’Level Result(s) should so indicate.
- Upload your passport photograph with a red background, not more than 1 x 1 inch. (if requested)
- Generate Remita code for payment with your master, Visa, or Verve card, etc OR Print out Payment Slip and proceed to any of the following Banks with Remita platform (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, AND UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK) and make payment of N2,000.00 only.
- Obtain a Remita receipt showing an Access Code from the Bank teller confirming the payment.
- Proceed back online and log in with your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code on the payment slip.
- Click on the “submit button” and print the Photo Card for the Screening Exercise clearance. Reprint the Photo Card a day before the examination.
Bonus tips
- The UNIPORT Post-UTME 2025 registration is online; therefore, candidates are not expected to be present physically on the University Campus, but are advised to register from any location.
- Inconsistency in name or picture on the Registration Slip is not acceptable to the University and may lead to the disqualification of affected candidates. Candidates’ names on their O’Level Certificates, UTME Results, and other registration documents must be the same.
- Note the date and time of the Screening on the Photo Card.
- When the Screening Exercise is scheduled, Candidates must report to the designated Screening Venues as scheduled or risk disqualification.
- Ensure to reprint your Photo Card a day before the examination.
