The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the successful printing and distribution of the 2025 Batch “C” Certificate of Exemption to all Corps Producing Institutions (CPIs) across Nigeria.
According to a statement signed by the scheme management, the exemption certificates have been dispatched to the respective institutions where graduates processed their exemptions during the NYSC mobilization exercise, marking the final stage of the exemption process for the 2025 Batch “C”.
The National Youth Service Corps management clarified that all certificates of exemption have been directly delivered to Corps Producing Institutions (CPIs) nationwide, such as universities and polytechnics adding that concerned graduates can now visit their respective institutions to inquire and collect their certificates.
In compliance with the NYSC policy, the scheme urged all schools to return unclaimed certificates of exemption to NYSC six (6) months after delivery. For the 2025 Batch C certificate return, the countdown officially commences from December 3, 2025.

This implies that graduates who fail to collect their certificates within the stipulated six-month period will be retrieved and returned to the NYSC custody. Affected graduates will now be required to follow an additional procedure to collect their certificates directly from the NYSC office.
The scheme urged eligible graduates to act promptly by visiting their institutions to collect their certificates as soon as possible. Graduates were also encouraged to check and ensure that thier personal details on the certificate are accurate at the point of collection.
