Abia State University has opened the application portal for the 2025/2026 ABSU Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening application for prospective students.
Candidates who sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and picked the JAMB Direct Entry (DE) and chose Abia State University as their first choice institution, and who meet the minimum required JAMB cutoff mark, can apply for the ABSU screening.

ABSU Post-UTME and DE Screening Application Requirements
- Candidates must have sat for the 2025 UTME examination and scored 150 and above.
- Candidates must choose ABSU as their first-choice institution. Those who did not make ABSU their first choice but wish to study at ABSU can effect a change of institution to ABSU via their JAMB portal.
- Candidates must meet the JAMB required minimum age of 16 years.
- Candidates must have at least 5 credits in their O’level, including mathematics and English Language.
Application Procedures
- Visit the ABSU screening application portal.
- Choose the application type as an undergraduate under the program field.
- Select the ABSU screening form under the form field, and enter the correct JAMB registration number.
- Select your program from the list of courses available.
- Enter your personal information correctly, including your email address, and click on “generate invoice“.
- Proceed to pay the sum of N2,000.00 for the Screening form via your debit card.
- Submit the form and print out your acknowledgment slip.
