The Federal Government of Nigeria has activated the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) portal for registration to support eligible graduates.
About the Programme
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is a programme backed by the federal government of Nigeria, designed to support young graduates in the country to navigate the labour market by providing access to work and employment through strategic job placements. The NJFP programme will act as a bridge to connect the expanding gaps between talented Nigerian graduates and employers (host organisation) in both the private and public sectors.
Aim of the NJFP
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is specially established to:
- To address the lack of a uniform employment structure.
- To empower talented Nigerian graduates by aligning their skills with the labour market needs.
- Drive a coordinated ecosystem of stakeholders towards sustainable youth and talent employability.
Who Can Apply for the NJFP
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme application is open in two categories:
Application as a Fellow:
This category of application is designed for fresh graduates who seek to explore the opportunities in the labour market.
Application Requirements as a Fellow:
- Applicants must be citizens of Nigeria.
- Fresh graduate (not earlier than 2022) in any discipline from a recognised higher institution.
- Applicants must graduate with at least Second-class lower (2.2) for bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) holders, and Upper Credit (3.0) for HND holders.
- Applicants must be 30 years old or younger.
- Applicants must not currently be engaged in employment with any organisation.
- Applicants must complete the National Youth Service (NYSC) or have the certificate of exemption.
- Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to work in their chosen field.
- Applicants must demonstrate interest in contributing to Nigeria’s socio-economic growth.
- Strong time management skills are required to meet professional expectations.
- Applicants must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Application as a host organization:
This category of application is designed for business owners and companies.
Application Requirements as an Organisation:
- All organisations must have up-to-date regulatory documents, including CAC registration and Tax Identification Number (TIN).
- Must provide a clear description of role(s) available for fellows.
- Must agree to provide mentorship support for fellows through existing experienced professionals within the organisation.
- Must agree to abide by the code of conduct of the NJFP.
- Must not discriminate against fellows by gender, ethnicity, religion, or disability.
- Must have no previous criminal record.
Required documents
- Corporate Affairs Registration Certificate (CAC).
- Tax Identification Number (IN).
Benefits of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP)
- Paid Work Placement: Successful fellows will benefit from a 12-month paid placement in both public and private sectors aimed at providing valuable experience and enhancing their career prospects.
- Monthly Salary: Fellows will earn a monthly stipend of N150,000 through the entire duration of the fellowship programme.
- Skills Acquisition: Throughout the duration of the fellowship programme, fellows will acquire industry-needed skills for employability as well as entrepreneurial and digital literacy skills.
- National Coverage: The Nigerian Jubilee Fellows Programme has coverage across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
- Mentorship Opportunities: Fellows will have mentorship opportunities with industry professionals in their chosen fields for career development.

- Visit the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme website.
- Scroll down and click on “Apply as a fellow” or “Apply as an organization”.
- Acknowledge the data protection concern and proceed.
- Fill the application form, submit the entry, and print out your acknowledgment slip.
Selection Process and the Journey
- Application completion: Graduates complete the online application form.
- Assessment and Selection: After application approval, candidates will sit through a series of computer-based tests, a video submission, and a psychometric assessment.
- Onboarding: After successful assessments, candidates will join the applicant’s pool where their CV will be created and wait for a match with a suitable organisation.
- Work Placement and Mentoring: After a match is made, the applicant will then be invited by host organizations to resume work.
