Who Can Apply?
- You are eligible if you:
- Applicant must be from the Niger Delta region
- Must be under 40 years old
- Hold at least a Second Class Lower Bachelor’s Degree
- Have a valid postgraduate admission letter from a recognized Nigerian university
- Have completed NYSC

Method of Application
Prospective and qualified candidates should follow the steps below to apply successfully:
- Visit www.nddc.gov.ng
- Complete the online form
- Upload these documents:
- Passport photo
- Local Government ID
- Degree certificate
- NYSC certificate
- Admission letter from a Nigerian university
After submission, a registration number will be assigned.
Selection Process
To qualify for shortlisting, applicants must complete the initial application, i.e., fill out and submit the online form via the commission website.
Preliminary shortlisting: candidates will be shortlisted based on the following criteria.
- WASSCE/NECO Results.
- Undergraduate degree classification (First Class, Second Class Upper/Lower), PGD, etc.
- Valid Local Government Identification
- Shortlisted candidates will write a Computer-Based Test (CBT): The Computer-Based Test will be conducted through NDDC consultants at designated centres in Akwa Ibom, Delta, and Rivers States. Candidates are advised to indicate their preferred zone during registration.
- A minimum CBT score of 60% is required
- Oral interviews follow
- Final verification is done through LGAs and community development committees
