The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Service Board (CDCFIB) has announced major changes to its recruitment exercise, earlier slated to start today, Thursday, 26th June, 2025, now to begin in three weeks.
In a signed statement posted on its official Twitter handle, it said:
CDCFIB Board, wishes to notify the general public that its recruitment port which was earlier slated to open on Thursday 26th June, 2025 will now open on Monday 14th July, 2025.

Major changes
Below are key changes that the Board has put in place in preparation for the nationwide recruitment.
New recruitment date: Portal opens Monday, 14th July, 2025.
New recruitment portal: recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
The Board added that these changes were necessary to allow for proper preparation and to enable seamless recruitment processes, noting that the integrity of the board will be upheld as they anticipate a free and fair recruitment exercise.
Furthermore, applicants were advised to take note of the above changes as well as be reminded that all applications are free and do not attract any payment.
