The Nigerian Education Loan Fund-NELFUND has advised students to remain vigilant and not fall victim to fraudsters who impersonate the Fund.
In a statement signed by Mrs. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, Director, Strategic Communications, she said:
The attention of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has been drawn to a fraudulent message currently circulating online, that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the reopening of the NELFUND Student Loan Portal.
She added that the information is fake, and a deliberate act tailored to harm vulnerable students, emphasizing the importance of students being able to differentiate the fund’s official website from the fake website she added:
We wish to categorically state that this website: https//nelfund-student-loan-2025.po-rt.com/NELFUN is fake and the information contained in the message is false and misleading.
